  • Are Babyology products suitable for newborns?

Yes! Our formulas are designed to be safe as soon as your baby is ‘grown-up’ enough for a bath in the tub. As most experts advise, it’s best to wait until the umbilical cord falls off before bathing your baby with something more than just a sponge or washcloth and warm water. Once you start bathing your baby, it’s also okay to apply baby lotion or diaper rash ointment or as soon as you see the first signs of skin dryness, flakiness, eczema or diaper rash.

  • My baby has sensitive skin. Can she/he use Babyology?

Absolutely! Our formulas are pure and gentle enough to be used on children with sensitive or eczema-prone skin. However, if your baby is prone to skin allergies or suffers from atopic dermatitis or other serious skin conditions, we advise contacting a dermatologist in order to get the most specialized help possible.

  • What ingredients do you use in your products?

We only use naturally sourced ingredients in our products that fall under one of the following groups: derivatives from natural and organic food-grade and herbal sources OR additives in food products or pharmaceutical products approved for internal use. We call them edible ingredients or “edibles”!

  • Are Babyology products natural?

Yes! All ingredients in our products are naturally sourced, although this is not the key aspect that makes them baby-safe. Not all naturals are the best choice for your baby.  That’s why we carefully select each natural ingredient in our formulations to make our products as safe as possible.

  • What do I do if my baby accidentally swallows/ingests your products?

Our ingredients are from 100% edible sources.  With that in mind, our products are designed for cosmetic use, not consumption. In the event that your baby swallows more than a pea-sized amount of product, contact a physician immediately!

  • What do I do if Babyology shampoo gets into my baby’s eyes?

Our baby bath product formulation is TEAR-FREE.  That being said, you should always avoid direct contact of any personal care product with your baby’s eyes, as they are very delicate. In case of contact, rinse-off thoroughly with clear water and if irritation or eye redness occurs, be sure to contact your physician.

  • Can I use Babyology products on a daily basis?

All our products are specifically designed to be baby-safe and will not harm your baby if used daily. However, we do not advise bathing your baby every single day as it really isn’t necessary for his well-being. However, you can use our baby lotion and diaper rash ointment products every day as they are designed to support the healthy development of your baby’s skin by keeping it moisturized and free of rashes.

  • Are Babyology products organic certified?

We use certified organic ingredients in our formulas, although our products themselves are not certified by USDA or any other organization dealing with organic certification.  Our reasoning is simple: we simply don’t believe in the idea that organic certification is a guarantee of safety in your baby’s personal care. The true measure of safety and quality in a product can be found in the transparency and nature of the ingredients themselves.

  • Can I use Babyology shampoo on my pet?

Yes! Our products are designed to be safe-to-use on babies, so they are also gentle on pets. However, keep in mind that even gentle human shampoos are less ideal than shampoo designed for pets.  If you bathe your pet regularly it’s best to stick with a pet formula.

  • Are Babyology products tested on animals?

Never! Not only do we do zero product testing on animals, we specifically require our raw material producers to show proof that they also did not test their materials on animals. We are animal lovers ourselves!
